Joined TEGEP HR and L&D Summit with The Great Leadership Disconnect

On 17 September 2026, I joined the TEGEP HR & L&D Summit in Istanbul, Türkiye, to deliver a talk titled “Liderlikte Kopan Bağ: İnsan Stratejisinden İş Sonuçlarına”, based on my upcoming book, The Great Leadership Disconnect.

Business leaders and HR leaders may pursue the same organisational goals but experience very different realities. This disconnect goes beyond communication and it affects how organisations make decisions, execute their strategies, and ultimately perform.

In this talk, I explored why this divide persists, how leadership behaviours and organisational assumptions reinforce it, and what it takes to reconnect people strategy with business results.
